am a Colorado native, born in Denver; actually, not too far from my current office in the lovely and quaint business district of South Pearl Street. However, my real estate background stems from growing up in a family where buying, selling, and investing in real estate, primarily on the Western Slope, was a usual occurrence.
Although I spent a lot of time enjoying all the things that growing up in a rural community has to offer, such as, horseback riding, skiing, church socials, fresh local produce, and parades for all kinds of celebrations on the local main street, I longed to experience the hustle and bustle of the big city. After graduation from high school, I headed to Denver, where the big city lights and energy of the city appealed to my sense of adventure and where my heart had found its true place.
It was in Denver that I graduated Magna Cum Laude and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. I furthered my education and received my Real Estate License in 2006. Along the way, my diverse background included owning and managing my own broadcast television satellite news truck, owing my own aesthetics’ business, and creating a loving, learning, and growing classroom environment for young children as a pre-school teacher. I gained experience in customer service, sales and marketing of services and products (which required excellent communication, networking, negotiation, problem solving/conflict resolution, and relationship building skills). The education and experience I had benefits my clients through my abilities to creatively think outside the box; be persistent, motivated, positive, and trustworthy.
I spent a lot of the past eight years involved in the property management side of the real estate business, which gave me familiarity with housing in the Denver Metro area, especially Centennial, South East Denver, Aurora, and Parker. My clients will benefit from my knowledge of investments, as well as, home purchases and sales.
On a personal note, I have two fantastic children, one daughter who recently returned from attending an acting conservatory in New York City and is now attending a University in Denver and working full-time. My son is in his final year of high school and is busy with his studies, football, and friends. I am happy to have them around for a little while longer.
